Mr. Derek DiPerna joins as President of w2bi, Inc.
Union, NJ – October 25, 2011 - w2bi, Inc. strengthens its customer commitment by appointing Derek DiPerna as President of w2bi. Mr. DiPerna has been well known in the wireless industry where he most recently served as General Manager with Microsoft in the US Operator Channel group.
Subscribers expect their mobile devices to perform well in various network conditions, and w2bi solutions help to increase the device performance. “Device and application certification testing is critical to the successful deployment of 3G, 4G/LTE services. Mr. DiPerna has 16 years of experience in the wireless industry and 9 years with Microsoft where he has overseen the commercialization of over 100 smartphones in North America. Prior to Microsoft, Derek was involved in multiple entrepreneurial wireless companies, and was a member of the technical staff for Verizon Wireless Network Engineering team focused on deploying and optimizing CDMA and AMPS technologies. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on telecommunications and computer science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

He worked at Verizon Wireless and Bell Atlantic Mobile for 27 years under various roles in finance, operations and marketing. He is a graduate of Boston College.

w2bi announces OTADM with iMDM Support Automation solution for Verizon Wireless

This server closely emulates the real world servers and removes the earlier challenges of using a test server and device configurations. This support is available as part of the Q-DAAT Solution. OTADM test suite is currently available for Verizon Wireless only and is based on Verizon’s OTADM Test Plan.
