Wireless test engineer in Union, New Jersey area

 

Job Profile:

w2bi is expanding its QA team in New Jersey to deliver quality tested T&M products and solution.  The candidate shall be responsible for defining and implementing quality assurance processes for 3G & 4G T&M solution; provide support to customers; deploy T&M solution at customer sites.

Required Skills:

• Mobile device testing using Wireless Signal Generators and test application platforms
• Base station emulators including 3G & 4G from Agilent, Spirent, Rhode & Schwarz or Aeroflex
• DM tools like UDM / UTS, CAIT, QPST, QXDM for testing, troubleshooting and problem solving
• Create QA documents for various test scenarios in accordance with core QA best practices.
• Analyze requirements and test plans to produce QA analysis documents.
• Test, evaluate, recommend, critique, and implement automated test applications to assure quality and identify potential improvement opportunities.

Additional Skills:

• Anticipate, identify and articulate problem areas and offer solutions
• Thorough understanding and developing a link between wireless industry standards, wireless carrier requirements, testing software solutions and its strategies, wireless emulator capabilities is critical to the job.
• Experience working with Smart Phones with newer operating systems like Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry is a plus.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and should be a go-getter.
• Be a team player/contributor to the team's overall effectiveness.
• Perform ISO level testing as and when required.
• May require travel to customer locations domestically and internationally

C#/.net Programmer in Union, NJ area. 

 

Job Profile:

We are looking for experienced C#/.net with C/C++ (Windows) background developers. The individual must have good communication skills to understand the business requirement and turn into technical design specification, build project plan and develop software.  The individual must have the ability to execute projects individually as well as part of team.

 

Required skills:

 

• Programming skills must include Microsoft Studio development environment in C#, .NET, C/C++
• Prior programming experience in remoting, multi-threading, network programming, sockets, WinForms, Win32 API, STL
• Operating System Knowledge: Windows

Desired skills:

 

• Experience with base station emulators (both operation and automation) such as Agilent, Spirent, Aeroflex and Anite shall be preferred.
• Prior experience in Wireless Test and Measurement domain
• Java
• TTCN
• Unix (Linux)
• Additional experience with device diagnostics/monitoring tools (both operation and automation) is a plus.
• MS in Computer Science or Engineering field.
• Experience with industry standards bodies such as 3GPP/3GPP2 a strong plus.
